Kwame Osei is a former pro-athlete (CFL), current high school teacher, Coach (Queen’s University Football Team), TV personality (Amazing Race Canada Finalist), Author (Inspirational Kids Books), CEO of athletic apparel company (Triumph Elite), Co-Founder of a non-profit mentorship organization (Northern Elite Football), host and keynote speaker.

Kwame Osei was born in Ghana West Africa and came to Canada at the age of 4 and resided in Toronto with his parents and sister. They all lived in Rexdale where he grew up and later attended high school at Father Henry Carr High School. Living in Rexdale Kwame was susceptible to the street culture and embraced a perspective on life and future achievements that required low expectations of himself and young men within the urban community where he lived.

At St. Francis Xavier Osei earned a Bachelor of Human Kinetics, and a Bachelor of Education degree. Osei taught Physical Education and Sports Performance at Holy Trinity High School in Fort McMurray Canada and was the Head Coach for the school’s varsity football team. He became immersed in the Fort McMurray community through a variety of his passions such as public speaking and football. Kwame has an extensive background in coaching football inclusive of coaching at the high school, semi-professional, and youth provincial levels.
 
In 2015 he Co-founded a non-profit youth mentorship program called Northern Elite Football and is the author of two children’s books. Kwame also co-founded a fitness clothing brand called Triumph Elite in 2014 which currently sponsors two professional athletes. In 2019, he was on the season 6 Hero’s edition of the Amazing Race Canada show and continues to pursue a career in acting.
In 2019, Kwame moved to Kingston, Ontario to be an assistant coach for Queens University. Kwame is the Receiver Coach and Community Engagement Coordinator for the Queen's Gaels.
