There are an estimated 1400 Rotarians in 35 clubs in Southeastern Ontario. If each of those Rotarians convince 9 or 10 people to donate just $5.00 to the Easter Seals Campaign during March 2022, then the Rotary goal of donating $65,000 to Easter Seals will be reached.

As the lead Rotary club for the 2022 Easter Seals Campaign, The Rotary Club of Kingston kicked-off the campaign with five presentations at their meeting on February 24th. Dave Short, chair of the club’s Easter Seal Committee hosted and MC’d the event.

During his presentation, Short described how he signed up at marchiseastersealsmonth.org to join Todd Colbourne’s Team and how he used the site to seek five-dollar donations from those on his email list. (Go to the 4:55 minute mark on the video below.)

HOW TO JOIN TODD’S TEAM

Short briefly explained that there were many other fundraising opportunities during the year such as “Paper Eggs”, an April telethon, a regatta, and pancake breakfast at Smitty’s restaurant.
