Megan Bomberry-Cowan
4H in Canada and locally

Megan earned her degree in 2008 from Western University: BA (Honours) in Social Science, majoring in Political Science. This she followed with a George Brown College certificate in Sports and Event Marketing, a full-time post-graduate program, achieving the Dean’s Honour Role.

From 2010  for 3 years, Megan was South Eastern Ontario Senior Development Officer for Easter Seals Ontario, helping 1000s of youth with physical disabilities. The Telethons and other community events raised the funds and much of that was done with our Rotary club.

She joined 4-H Canada as Director of Sponsorships. She’s a proud 4-H’er who is passionate about giving young people the ability to take the lead on the issues that they care about. With over a decade of experience working for youth-serving organizations, Megan leads 4-H Canada in developing transformational partnerships in the social sector, partnering with top tier corporations and foundations on mission-related investments to support positive youth development. Throughout her time in the not-for-profit sector, she has fostered strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, instilling a culture of collaboration and high performance.

Megan grew up in Stouffville in Central Ontario, and currently lives with her husband Seamus and sons Sam and Freddie in the heart of the Rideau Lakes. And if you have eaten or stayed at The Cove in Westport, that’s owned by Megan and her husband.

She practices the 4H Motto: “My hands to larger service and my health to better living”.
