The mission of the Rural-Urban Committee is to foster good will, understanding and mutual respect between the rural and urban communities. The focus is in the areas of commerce and business. The Rotary Club of Kingston helps organize three events:

• Host a Rural-Urban Luncheon meeting that includes 40 to 50 rural leaders.
• Sponsorship of a rural student to participate in the Ridgetown Rotary Club's "Agri - Food Adventure".
• Rotary Wheels Project, which picks up and disposes of old vehicles that pollute our environment and detract from the beauty of our community.
